About Me

 Kathryn is a Speech and Hearing Therapist based in Tzaneen. Her undergraduate qualification in Speech Pathology and Audiology was obtained at Wits. After qualifying Kathryn completed her community service year at Letaba Hospital near Tzaneen. Continuing to work in the government sector Kathryn completed a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Intervention through the University of Pretoria. Since 2011 Kathryn has worked in Private Practice. Kathryn is a Griffiths Developmental Scales accredited therapist and also a Hanen certified therapist. Kathryn is the Zone representative for Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Northern Pretoria for the South African Speech Language Hearing Association. Her areas of particular interest are in Early Intervention, Auditory Processing, Child Language, Stroke, Swallowing problems and other Neurogenic communication disorders in children and adults.
